Review - Avon Winter Nails and Lips

Hi everyone!

At the end of May I ordered these two Avon products because I wanted some winter colours for work. I don’t wear a lot of make-up at work so I turn it up in the nails and lipstick department. So when I looked around I found this perfect shade of nail polish and lipstick from Avon Cosmetics.

So when I first had it on it come off as a dark pink and I was quite puzzled because I thought I picked the wrong shade. But with a second layer it really comes alive. It has enough moisture to not make your lips dry and also enough to last all day. I only re-applied after lunch and it stayed on till past 6pm!

Nail polish

To continue my burgundy winter trend I thought this nail polish would look amazing seeing that I’ve only stuck to pastels in the past. But a lot of people were quite attracted to it and they also gave it a try. I had it only for an entire workweek and I was very satisfied with how long it stayed on. I applied 2 layers which also made it look more vibrant.

The fabric is super soft and amazing. Definitely worth the price.

Date night || Flirty circle skirt

Hi everyone!!

So ..today I had a good day! My friend is getting married in 2 months so I went with her all over town to find some bridesmaid dresses. It's such an amazing experience and later on a knot started forming in her stomach when she suddenly realized how 'real' all of it was. To be honest I'd be freaking out sooo soo much if I was in her shoes! 

This knot also forms within me whenever I'm in skirts. This one I bought with my eyes closed because I didn't want to change my mind once I had it. And the one time I wore it, I felt really uneasy.

I have a leg showing shyness(if that's an illness?) so I assume background wherever I

am, but this one is a real headturner! So if you want to accomplish that, get one of these for the summer real soon!!

Burnt Orange Beauty

Helloo!!

Long time, no blogging! Today I wore this beautiful knitted dress type outfit to church and I couldn't wait to show it off! Probably because the colour is way out of my normal 'comfort' colours so I just closed my eyes and bought it! The sun is out and about but its still a bit breezy so as a South African resident that just means that its cold and therefore you must boot up! I'm starting my tests on Tuesday so I'll be MIA again for about 2 weeks!

Winter Deluxe

Heloooo;)!

I'm free!!! For 3 weeks. That means that in the next 3 weeks I'm going to have to put a lot of effort in studying. Tomorrow will be the 1st of June which marks the beginning of the last few months of my final year as a student- I cannot tell you how excited I am!!

So today I wore this beautiful burgundy jacket/coat to the test from 8am-2pm!

I once learnt from a friend that you shouldn't wear a horrible outfit when you're about to write a difficult test!!

Today I'm bringing you this smart casual pairing! I have this super beautiful blazer that I got at Mr Price early in the year and I'm always excited to wear it. It's very plain but so carefully structured that it becomes a statement piece on its own. I bought it one size bigger because I really wanted a casual fit so I'd suggest that you try it on before you purchase it. Its so minimalistic and yet so chic!!

Some Pink Spice!

Heloooo!!!

It's winter now but for some reason every now and again the sun comes out to play! So that means pick something from your summer collection archive that you packed away at the beginning of May!!! I had a full day of classes so my pick was my trusty beige booties...in that way I get to wear socks! And this pink skirt I got from  a MrPrice store like forever ago!!

Durban

Helooo!!!

I recently went on holiday to Durban to visit a friend! We also sort of took a roadtrip because I’ve never done that before!! Problem is- I didn’t have a camera and I was really bummed that wouldn’t be able take any cute pictures to show my family! So during the holiday I decided to jump into the deep side and just swim!! So I now have a new camera!!! I couldn’t take a lookbook but I decided to post some snaps of basically the last 2 days and also some cute interior pieces of my friend’s house!!
